Have you ever wanted to make a homemade Asian-inspired meal but there are a ton of ingredients, some of which aren’t common? Here’s an easy solution. Pair this Sesame Flank Steak dinner with frozen potstickers, easy cook fried rice, whatever you like that isn’t a time-intensive meal.
Ingredients
1 pound beef flank steak
3/4 cup dry red wine
2 TBS seasme oil
2 TSP grated ginger root (or if you can find it, minced ginger root in a tube)
1/8 TSP ground black pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
- Score the steaks diagonally across the grain on both sides, forming a diagonal pattern. In a shallow dish or food storage bag, combine all other ingredients and mix well. Add in the steak, turn to coat. Let stand at room temperature to marinate or refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- Spray broiler pan with non-stick spray. Remove steak from the marinade, place steak on sprayed pan. Discard marinade.
- Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 10-15 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved. Turn once while broiling. Cut steak diagonally across the grain, into think slices.
